depends. my doc miss diagnosed me for 3 years basically telling me i was crazy, and all along i had gall bladder problems and had to have it removed. I was having gall attacks not food poisoning or acid reflux. For that the statutue of limitations was 6 months to file (in MI). Research the web, go to statues-of-limitations.com hope that helps

Varies tremendously by the state and subject. For instance, in Louisiana, you have 1 year from the time you should have known a malpractice had occurred. In my state, it is 4 years dated from the actual injury (in other words, if the injury was Feb. 2 and the malpractice occurs on March 1, the statute of limitations began Feb. 2).

A workers compensation claim has both 3 years and 6 years limitation. Not really sure why, I’m guessing it is the type of claim.

Use the phone book to identify attorneys and firms that specialize in medical malpractice. Then call several of their offices and ask if you can schedule a free first consultation. Tell them your story, and see if they will take the case on a contingency, which means they are agreeing to be paid by taking a part of the settlement they negoiate. Otherwise, your expenses could e tremendous. I would think you could find someone to take the case on a contingency basis if they think you have a good case.

Depends on the state you are in. Trying doing a search for the Bar Association in your state. They may have that info on their web page. You can usually get a consultation from an attorney at no cost to see if you have a case. Just make an appointment with one.

two years in most states. but if you are still seeking medical attention for the injury, then the LAST date of your medical attention is the day the two years begins. So if you injured yourself and you saught medical attention for it on aug 3, 2005 then your limitation expired, if you go in and continue to seek medical attention, and you currently still are, then it doesnt expire. it's BEST to seek legal advice while you are seeking medical attention. hope that helps.

Nobody got a ticket? Not good. I live in TX as well and if nobody gets a ticket it is very difficult to establish a true fault. His insurance may be able to deny any claims. You can either use your insurance to pay your med bills or use your health insurance. No report filed then you can't prove anything.

Call the lawyer referral service if your state has that. I don't know if CA does. What you need to watch out for is the statute of limitations though. Many states limit the time in which you can bring a suit for this type of case to two years. You may be running out of time.

Statutes of limitation vary from state to state and from subject to subject. You really need to consult with a lawyer on this one. You can certainly read statutes of limitations in your state but to be on the safe side consult a lawyer.
